Narrative:

On feb/tue/04, aircraft rolled in. Found nose strut to be leaking. I and another mechanic proceeded to disassemble the inner cylinder for repack. At XH00 on feb/wed/04 we were about done with the repack. We had reason to believe that item #270 and item #275 of ipc -700 32-21-00-01 sheet 8 may not have been installed properly. The aircraft had routine overnight check. The following night we became aware of this and immediately notified duty control team leader of the concern. Later that evening, we were told that a road trip that morning would occur.
