Narrative:

On 11/sun/01, we received a flight briefing for intended VFR flight from ZZZ to ZZZ1 in the mid morning. Intended time of departure approximately early afternoon. Approximately 2 hours in route. Departure time was actually approximately XA00. The briefing included NOTAMS for us. The flight was uneventful and took a little less than 2 hours, WX for ZZZ2 and ZZZ1 were requested from flight watch somewhere around ZZZ3 and ZZZ4. There was some light precipitation and obscuration however it was VFR. We transited the transitional route over ZZZ5 at 3500 ft, called ZZZ1 for landing. ZZZ1 advised us to call TRACON which we did as soon as possible upon landing and were informed that we violated restr airspace as per ZZZ5 NOTAM. We explained that we were not given the NOTAM, however, we received other NOTAMS along our intended route of flight. The other pilot called ZZZ6 FSS, TRACON and ZZZ flight service. After speaking with the supervisor at ZZZ FSS the supervisor reviewed the tape recording of the earlier briefing saying he would get back to us later. At this time the other pilot took her 2 pages of briefing to ZZZ1 tower and had the personnel sign/date and photo copy the notes. Later in the evening a call was placed to ZZZ FSS. The evening supervisor said the tape had been reviewed, the ZZZ5 NOTAM was not mentioned in the recording and that the briefer was taken off position for training. The supervisor also saw they were understaffed due to work load/or understaffing. A certified copy of the WX briefing had been requested. The problem could have been avoided if in our briefing, we were given the ZZZ5 NOTAM along with another NOTAM affecting our intended route of flight.

WE EXPLAINED THAT WE WERE NOT GIVEN THE NOTAM, HOWEVER, WE RECEIVED OTHER NOTAMS ALONG OUR INTENDED ROUTE OF FLT. THE OTHER PLT CALLED ZZZ6 FSS, TRACON AND ZZZ FLT SVC. AFTER SPEAKING WITH THE SUPVR AT ZZZ FSS THE SUPVR REVIEWED THE TAPE RECORDING OF THE EARLIER BRIEFING SAYING HE WOULD GET BACK TO US LATER. AT THIS TIME THE OTHER PLT TOOK HER 2 PAGES OF BRIEFING TO ZZZ1 TWR AND HAD THE PERSONNEL SIGN/DATE AND PHOTO COPY THE NOTES. LATER IN THE EVENING A CALL WAS PLACED TO ZZZ FSS. THE SUPVR ALSO SAW THEY WERE UNDERSTAFFED DUE TO WORK LOAD/OR UNDERSTAFFING. A CERTIFIED COPY OF THE WX BRIEFING HAD BEEN REQUESTED. THE PROB COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF IN OUR BRIEFING, WE WERE GIVEN THE ZZZ5 NOTAM ALONG WITH ANOTHER NOTAM AFFECTING OUR INTENDED ROUTE OF FLT.
