Narrative:

[We] were flashed for approximately 3 seconds by a bright green laser. We had just gotten on the localizer for runway 12 at eat for the visual to 12. I would say that we were past cashmere by 5 miles when the event occurred. I was looking at the airport when I noticed a bright green laser emanating approximately 2 miles off of runway 12. It was pointed directly at us and we were swept by it for 2-3 seconds. After that the laser disappeared and was not seen again. The final approach landing was uneventful. When I got to the dispatch office I notified the dispatcher who in turn notified the air operations center. I [also] notified law enforcement and seattle center.
