Narrative:

Flight ZZZ1-ZZZ2 had placarded the left generator. Captain called prior to flight approximately XA40Z to refuse the aircraft for the placard. A refusal was sent out and followed up with a call to the B757 controller. At XB30Z I received a call from ZZZ1 captain asking about the refusal. B757 controller said that dispatch had removed the refusal. I told her that I was the only dispatcher; and asked who she had spoken with; and she said dispatch. I find this disturbing that this company does not know who dispatch is; and we have wasted time and money; while this thing could have been repaired. So who said the refusal was pulled?
