Narrative:

During the descent portion of the flight into ZZZZ the following ECAM faults appeared: hydraulic green system low pressure and green system hydraulic reservoir low level. I was flying. I continued to fly the arrival and navigation around some rain showers in the area while the first officer performed the ECAM procedures. This was followed by a review of the status page. The decrement chart was referred to for the loss of green hydraulic system; and landing distance was calculated. The loss of brake memory items were reviewed for a worse case scenario. A manual gear extension was performed per the checklist. ATC was advised of the possibility of needing the entire length of the runway. A normal approach to a landing was accomplished. After touchdown I tapped the brakes to ensure the alternate system was functioning properly. We cleared the runway without incident.
