Narrative:

After leveling off at FL350; I smelled an electrical smell in the cockpit. We accomplished our red box items; and I ran the appropriate checklists. I informed ZZZ radio of our emergency; told them we were deviating off track and we turned the aircraft towards ZZZ. I called our purser; accomplished the notification with her and told her I would call her when I had time. We returned to ZZZ; had arff standing by; made an uneventful landing and taxied back to the gate.
