Narrative:

During taxi in to gate in iah, had to wait at top of j-line for the marshaled to get 2 wing walkers. Once the 3 of them were ready and we were marshalled in, I continued to taxi in to park. We were given the normal stop signal then waited for the 'chocks in' sign, at which time I released the brakes. Shortly later the flight attendant informed me that the jetway was stuck on the left engine nacelle. At the time of the incident there was a female jetway operator waiting on the jetway. Some damage was done to the top of the nacelle and the jetway. Supplemental information from acn 622330: upon shutdown, a flight attendant informed us that the jetway was sitting on the left engine.
