Narrative:
Inadvertent incursion into the washington dc ADIZ. I had filed an IFR flight plan ezf to ewr. I took off VFR and called to get my clearance in-flight. Unfortunately, I had used an out-of-date en route chart (very out of date!) to plan my route. I was told to call approach on the phone, and was unaware of my mistake until I went back to check if approach could possibly be correct. I have flown in and around the ADIZ many times in the last few months and I cannot believe I made such a foolish mistake. I flew from ezf to sabbi to whino, etc, placing me 2 or 3 mi inside the ADIZ.
