Narrative:

A passenger seated in yy in exit row refused to place dog in a carrier during the flight and landing. The passenger was verbally abusive to crew. She also jeopardized passenger and crew safety because of dog at exit row not properly contained. Flight attendant #1 took dog and placed in passenger lap 2 rows back just before touchdown. Flight was met by sheriff's department at smf. FAA was notified. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that the woman with the dog acted like a spoiled brat, and really upset the cabin crew. The local sheriff detained the passenger for questioning at the sacramento airport, but decided it was under federal jurisdiction, so they kept her there till the fbi arrived. The reporter did not know of any further actions taken against the lady.

Title: CABIN ATTENDANT RPT, MD80, DFW-SMF, PAX SITTING IN EXIT ROW WOULD NOT PUT DOG IN KENNEL DURING FLT AND FOR LNDG. PAX DETAINED BY SHERIFF AND FBI.

Narrative: A PAX SEATED IN YY IN EXIT ROW REFUSED TO PLACE DOG IN A CARRIER DURING THE FLT AND LNDG. THE PAX WAS VERBALLY ABUSIVE TO CREW. SHE ALSO JEOPARDIZED PAX AND CREW SAFETY BECAUSE OF DOG AT EXIT ROW NOT PROPERLY CONTAINED. FLT ATTENDANT #1 TOOK DOG AND PLACED IN PAX LAP 2 ROWS BACK JUST BEFORE TOUCHDOWN. FLT WAS MET BY SHERIFF'S DEPT AT SMF. FAA WAS NOTIFIED. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THAT THE WOMAN WITH THE DOG ACTED LIKE A SPOILED BRAT, AND REALLY UPSET THE CABIN CREW. THE LCL SHERIFF DETAINED THE PAX FOR QUESTIONING AT THE SACRAMENTO ARPT, BUT DECIDED IT WAS UNDER FEDERAL JURISDICTION, SO THEY KEPT HER THERE TILL THE FBI ARRIVED. THE RPTR DID NOT KNOW OF ANY FURTHER ACTIONS TAKEN AGAINST THE LADY.
