Narrative:

Flight xx was inbound to chicago-ord when the captain announced that due to thunderstorms in the area, we would be holding for about 30 mins. A passenger came to the back galley area and remarked 'do you mean that these 'CAT 1' pilots can't land an airplane in a thunderstorm?' he remained in the back for a few mins, trying to listen to our conversation, then returned to his seat. A few mins later the captain announced that we would be diverting to minneapolis for fuel. The passenger came to the back again to see how long we would be delayed. When we told him that we didn't have that information yet, he became agitated, but said nothing and returned to his seat. After we landed, the captain made the announcement that there were other airplanes ahead of us waiting to be fueled, and that we could be there for 2 hours. The passenger came to the back to where flight attendant #2 was sitting at her jump seat and said, 'I have to get off this plane now, I'm going to have a fit, I don't care if you have me arrested, I'll just go to see the judge on monday.' flight attendant #2 called the purser and told him that the passenger was coming forward to talk to her. The police boarded a few mins later, interviewed the passenger several times, and then detained him at msp.
