Narrative:

I was told to cross 45 NM west of har VOR on bunts 1 arrival to phl. I read back the clearance, however, the collins 4200 FMS won't accept that since there are intxns within this distance. Message given is 'distance too large,' so in my mental math I accidentally entered 6 NM west of lomon intersection. This is only 25 NM west of har. So we missed the restr this was my fault, however, if the controller understood FMS entries, a clearance of FL250 4 NM west of cofax intersection would have been simple to enter and no chance of misunderstanding. Our usual clearance is to cross cofax intersection at FL250.
