Narrative:

Departed gate sju and started all 3 engines normally. Used power from #1 and #3 engines on taxi to allow #2 engine to warm up and avoid jetblast. When cleared for takeoff on runway 8, advanced throttles on all 3 engines. We got no response on #2 engine. Aborted and cleared runway. Attempted runup, still no throttle response. Returned to gate. Maintenance replaced the #2 engine fuel control. Flew same aircraft next day -- works fine.
