Narrative:

Right generator drive light mco'ed. Mco item #xw-oz-yz. The right integrated drive generator was disconnected and the MEL was referenced. A (M) requirement was that the APU oil level be checked by maintenance and annotated in the logbook. The mechanic in the cockpit confirmed that he had in fact checked the APU, but there was no logbook entry. The requirement is that a logbook entry for this must be made at the next air carrier maintenance station then once each flight day. I do not recall if ZZZ was the first air carrier maintenance station, thus requiring the entry, or if that occurred the day prior.
