Narrative:
I was assigned to troubleshoot #1 idg (integrated drive generator) that was currently on placard. Upon troubleshooting, found pressure switch faulting. Unable to replace pressure switch, thus leaving #1 idg on placard. During troubleshooting procedure, I had an additional mechanic assist me as I was not qualified to perform an engine run. After engine run and troubleshooting, I proceeded to follow mpm per MEL 24-1. During this procedure I had assumed that the idg was re-connected by the mechanic that assisted me on engine run.
