Narrative:

Passenger was smoking in first class lavatory during flight. She walked past me as I left the first class galley and I smelled very strong cigarette smoke. I asked her if she had been smoking and she said no. I went into the lavatory and the smoke smell was still strong. I opened the trash bin and looked for butts. I also doused the bin and contents with water. I returned to my work area in the main cabin and the other flight attendants handled the passenger, paperwork, etc. My only other comment is that the captain refused to have anyone meet the flight.
