Narrative:

On approach to runway 27, boston, ma, no switch was made to tower from approach control. Landing was accomplished without a clearance. No comment from tower on ground control when taxiing to gate. I don't recall approach giving a frequency change to tower and our (crew) complacent attitude did not pick up the error. More crew awareness is required during routine operations.

Title: FLC OF AN LGT FAILED TO OBTAIN LNDG CLRNC.

Narrative: ON APCH TO RWY 27, BOSTON, MA, NO SWITCH WAS MADE TO TWR FROM APCH CTL. LNDG WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITHOUT A CLRNC. NO COMMENT FROM TWR ON GND CTL WHEN TAXIING TO GATE. I DON'T RECALL APCH GIVING A FREQ CHANGE TO TWR AND OUR (CREW) COMPLACENT ATTITUDE DID NOT PICK UP THE ERROR. MORE CREW AWARENESS IS REQUIRED DURING ROUTINE OPS.
