Narrative:
Flight attendants reported 12 times passenger were smoking in lavatories. Heat sensors don't go off until 175 degrees or fire gets real big. The flight attendants extinguished (put out) 3 smoldering trash cans in lavatories. I don't know if you have had other reports of this. Our company has a no smoking (at all) policy.

Narrative: FLT ATTENDANTS RPTED 12 TIMES PAX WERE SMOKING IN LAVATORIES. HEAT SENSORS DON'T GO OFF UNTIL 175 DEGS OR FIRE GETS REAL BIG. THE FLT ATTENDANTS EXTINGUISHED (PUT OUT) 3 SMOLDERING TRASH CANS IN LAVATORIES. I DON'T KNOW IF YOU HAVE HAD OTHER RPTS OF THIS. OUR COMPANY HAS A NO SMOKING (AT ALL) POLICY.
