Narrative:

Air carrier X level FL280. TCASII TA yellow for traffic 5 mi 12 O'clock. We got him visual. He was climbing and passed us at 3 O'clock, 2 mi away and 800 ft above us. We talked to him, about his TCASII alert, told him what we had. Controller said they would pull the tapes. Supplemental information from acn 297302: we received a TA on the TCASII. Target showed up at 12 O'clock position 5 NM co-altitude. Aircraft was air carrier Y 767 and passed within 2 NM to our right at 800 ft above and climbing. We were radar contact with ZSU who seemed unaware of the conflict. Both aircraft sighted each other at 5 NM due to the TCASII alert.

Narrative: ACR X LEVEL FL280. TCASII TA YELLOW FOR TFC 5 MI 12 O'CLOCK. WE GOT HIM VISUAL. HE WAS CLBING AND PASSED US AT 3 O'CLOCK, 2 MI AWAY AND 800 FT ABOVE US. WE TALKED TO HIM, ABOUT HIS TCASII ALERT, TOLD HIM WHAT WE HAD. CTLR SAID THEY WOULD PULL THE TAPES. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 297302: WE RECEIVED A TA ON THE TCASII. TARGET SHOWED UP AT 12 O'CLOCK POS 5 NM CO-ALT. ACFT WAS ACR Y 767 AND PASSED WITHIN 2 NM TO OUR R AT 800 FT ABOVE AND CLBING. WE WERE RADAR CONTACT WITH ZSU WHO SEEMED UNAWARE OF THE CONFLICT. BOTH ACFT SIGHTED EACH OTHER AT 5 NM DUE TO THE TCASII ALERT.
