Narrative:

On ILS to runway 09R at mia there was a twring cumulus thunderstorm developing just north of the centerline. I maneuvered just slightly right of course and then back left to the centerline. However, I believe the winds from this twring cumulus caused us to drift imminently to the north side of the localizer. It took a 20 degree bank and a 35 degree correction to re- establish the aircraft on the localizer at this time. A tailwind may also have played a part in this approach because we ended up higher than normal on the GS. At this time, an aircraft on runway 9L appeared to have overshot the centerline of his runway causing a TCASII 'monitor vertical speed' for us. We adjusted accordingly, asked tower for an south turn to the south to lose altitude and landed uneventfully. The winds in this building cumulus were apparently stronger than I had anticipated.

Title: MLG OVERSHOOTS LOC ON APCH.

WE ADJUSTED ACCORDINGLY, ASKED TWR FOR AN S TURN TO THE S TO LOSE ALT AND LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. THE WINDS IN THIS BUILDING CUMULUS WERE APPARENTLY STRONGER THAN I HAD ANTICIPATED.
