Narrative:

While we did not have a near miss, making approachs to runway 25L in a B-757 wingtip to wingtip with a commuter aircraft on runway 25R is 1) unprofessional, 2) dangerous, 3) distracting, 4) worrisome, 5) eliminates TCASII protection. Lax approach does not have prm or 'any warning' equipment for transgressions on very narrow lateral separations. We have no training for formation lndgs yet we are expected perform.
