Narrative:

Captain was flying in descent out of FL130 for FL120. Flight guidance and autoplt set and armed for FL120. Heard TCASII RA command to descend, glanced at TCASII, confirmed red square at 12:30. The captain then followed the vsi green band commanding 2000 ft down. When the RA cleared, he returned to FL120. Altitude deviation approximately 500 ft below assigned altitude.
