Narrative:

Flight departed dothan, al, (dhn) enroute to memphis, tn, (mem) at XX00 CDT. All taxi, departure, en route, cruise, descent and approach to landing phases of the flight proceeded normally with first officer at the controls. Foþs approach and landing were normal and very smooth. Upon touchdown on runway 27 at mem, the aircraft slowed rapidly and began to vibrate during rollout. Captain took control of the aircraft by use of the nose wheel steering, applied brakes and reverse thrust. Once the aircraft came to a stop, we smelled what we perceived to be burning rubber and observed smoke coming from the right side of the aircraft, presumably from the tires. Captain set the parking brake, shut the engines down and proceeded with a precautionary evacuate/evacuation. Captain instructed the flight attendant to lower the airstair and evacuate the aircraft as soon as the left propeller stopped turning. First officer notified ATC of our situation and requested crash fire rescue. The shutdown checklist was performed. All precautionary evacuate/evacuation procedures were followed. The passenger (4) were gathered approximately 50-100 ft from the aircraft. Once the final checks were completed, first officer and captain joined the passenger and assured their safety.

Title: AN LTT CREW MADE AN EMER EVAC AFTER A TIRE PROBLEM ON LNDG ROLLOUT THAT CAUSED SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT. THERE WERE NO RPTED INJURIES AND NO DAMAGE OTHER THAN THE TIRE. THE ARPT EMER EQUIP WAS CALLED.

Narrative: FLT DEPARTED DOTHAN, AL, (DHN) ENROUTE TO MEMPHIS, TN, (MEM) AT XX00 CDT. ALL TAXI, DEP, ENRTE, CRUISE, DSCNT AND APCH TO LNDG PHASES OF THE FLT PROCEEDED NORMALLY WITH FO AT THE CTLS. FOþS APCH AND LNDG WERE NORMAL AND VERY SMOOTH. UPON TOUCHDOWN ON RWY 27 AT MEM, THE ACFT SLOWED RAPIDLY AND BEGAN TO VIBRATE DURING ROLLOUT. CAPT TOOK CTL OF THE ACFT BY USE OF THE NOSE WHEEL STEERING, APPLIED BRAKES AND REVERSE THRUST. ONCE THE ACFT CAME TO A STOP, WE SMELLED WHAT WE PERCEIVED TO BE BURNING RUBBER AND OBSERVED SMOKE COMING FROM THE R SIDE OF THE ACFT, PRESUMABLY FROM THE TIRES. CAPT SET THE PARKING BRAKE, SHUT THE ENGS DOWN AND PROCEEDED WITH A PRECAUTIONARY EVAC. CAPT INSTRUCTED THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT TO LOWER THE AIRSTAIR AND EVACUATE THE ACFT AS SOON AS THE L PROP STOPPED TURNING. FO NOTIFIED ATC OF OUR SITUATION AND REQUESTED CRASH FIRE RESCUE. THE SHUTDOWN CHKLIST WAS PERFORMED. ALL PRECAUTIONARY EVAC PROCS WERE FOLLOWED. THE PAX (4) WERE GATHERED APPROX 50-100 FT FROM THE ACFT. ONCE THE FINAL CHECKS WERE COMPLETED, FO AND CAPTAIN JOINED THE PAX AND ASSURED THEIR SAFETY.
