Narrative:
Passengers in X3 and 4 were not complying with the mask policy from the start of boarding. [Passenger] X4 came on with his mask off; so I asked him to put his mask on. As I was doing cabin secure I noticed their masks we're below their nose almost showing their mouth so I told them again that I do not want to have to ask again for them to put their masks on. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and they were unhappy with how I approached the situation; but they were not complying from the beginning. They were also non-rev passengers. I even had passengers thank me for reinforcing the mask policy because they noticed their masks were off.
