Narrative:

Maintenance bulletin states B757-200 cargo door liners must be fastened in place to prevent contact with [door] light fixtures. However; the bulletin doesn't reference any maintenance manual (MM) for inspections or repairs. I worked a B757-200 aircraft and the aft cargo door had such [type of] loose door liner. Three snaps were torn off the door liner. We consulted the MM; company repair document; and the structural repair manual (srm) for a repair. No repairs specific to the door liner existed in any boeing or company publication. We began to seek an engineering dispensation; but the airplane was taken out of service due to other workload. Night shift ordered a new liner. Suggest adding cargo door liner repairs to either the MM or company repair documents.
