Narrative:

Aircraft X handed off to denver approach. Aircraft was -quail-vel at FL180. The aircraft was to enter denver approach arrival airspace. What I did not notice was that the computer had started the hand off to the wrong approach control sector. The aircraft should have handed off to 'X' tags or arrivals. The aircraft instead handed off to 'south' tag; south departure. This has been an on going problem that remains unfixed. Aircraft that are at assigned altitudes do not hand off to the right sectors at den approach. I feel this is just an adaptation problem that remains unfixed. I took the hand off back and initiated a hand off to 'X' tags. The aircraft was taken by arrivals 'X' tags before the aircraft entered their airspace.
