I was assigned to work on propeller transfer tube for an ATR-72. There were two similar jobs on that aircraft which I read wrong and installed the wrong part; on the wrong side.

Title: A Mechanic reported he removed and replaced (R/R) a propeller transfer tube on the right engine of an ATR-72 aircraft; instead of the left engine. As a result; the left engine transfer tube overflew the in-service time limits.
Narrative: I was assigned to work on Propeller Transfer Tube for an ATR-72. There were two similar jobs on that aircraft which I read wrong and installed the wrong part; on the wrong side.
