Narrative:
Left sector 52/53 airspace and entered sector 08/09 lzbw (ZBW) without a handoff. The aircraft was 'short tagged' by the previous controller which indicated the aircraft was handed off and the frequency was changed. However; the aircraft was not; and the relieving controller did not notice. An airspace deviation occurred.

Narrative: Left Sector 52/53 Airspace and entered Sector 08/09 LZBW (ZBW) without a handoff. The aircraft was 'short tagged' by the previous Controller which indicated the aircraft was handed off and the frequency was changed. However; the aircraft was not; and the relieving Controller did not notice. An airspace deviation occurred.
