Narrative:

I exited on taxiway november (north) in error. After landing on lax runway 25L we were given taxi instruction during a critical phase of flight (during our after landing roll out at a speed of approximately 80-100 KTS) to exit on taxiway tango (T). There was construction and bright construction lights on taxiway alpha-papa (ap). Immediately following taxiway ap is taxiway north that was immediately prior to taxiway T high-speed exit. The tango marker is located just prior to taxiway T high-speed exit and immediately following taxiway north (ie; both taxiway north and T are in close proximity of each other and the tango marker is located between both txwys). With the taxi instruction given during a critical phase of flight; coupled with the confusing location of taxiway tango marker and the bright construction lights obscuring my vision made it difficult to identify the correct taxiway. This was not an isolated event. The aircraft just prior to our landing made the same mistake. Recommendation: block off taxiway north while taxiway ap is under construction.

Title: B737 FLT CREW GIVEN TAXI INSTRUCTIONS DURING LNDG ROLLOUT INADVERTENTLY TURNS ON CLOSED TXWY N ATTEMPTING TO FIND TXWY T AT LAX.

Narrative: I EXITED ON TXWY NOVEMBER (N) IN ERROR. AFTER LNDG ON LAX RWY 25L WE WERE GIVEN TAXI INSTRUCTION DURING A CRITICAL PHASE OF FLT (DURING OUR AFTER LNDG ROLL OUT AT A SPD OF APPROX 80-100 KTS) TO EXIT ON TXWY TANGO (T). THERE WAS CONSTRUCTION AND BRIGHT CONSTRUCTION LIGHTS ON TXWY ALPHA-PAPA (AP). IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING TXWY AP IS TXWY N THAT WAS IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO TXWY T HIGH-SPD EXIT. THE TANGO MARKER IS LOCATED JUST PRIOR TO TXWY T HIGH-SPEED EXIT AND IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING TXWY N (IE; BOTH TXWY N AND T ARE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY OF EACH OTHER AND THE TANGO MARKER IS LOCATED BETWEEN BOTH TXWYS). WITH THE TAXI INSTRUCTION GIVEN DURING A CRITICAL PHASE OF FLT; COUPLED WITH THE CONFUSING LOCATION OF TXWY TANGO MARKER AND THE BRIGHT CONSTRUCTION LIGHTS OBSCURING MY VISION MADE IT DIFFICULT TO IDENTIFY THE CORRECT TXWY. THIS WAS NOT AN ISOLATED EVENT. THE ACFT JUST PRIOR TO OUR LNDG MADE THE SAME MISTAKE. RECOMMENDATION: BLOCK OFF TXWY N WHILE TXWY AP IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
