Narrative:

Pre-departure clearance was given to our flight approximately 20 to 30 mins prior to departure. The 'clearance limit fix' out of sbgl was given as 'ekuba.' this fix is not in the FMC database; not on the charts we carry; and yet it is being used as a specific clearance limit point for our flts. The local agent gave us a photocopy of a chart that had the fix 'ekuba' penned in to the approximately location. This is absurd; why are they not using a fix in our FMC database? They wonder why they have so many problems in brazilian ATC controlled airspace....

Title: ACR PLT RPTS BEING GIVEN A CLRNC LIMIT OF EKUBA ON A FLT OUT OF SBGL. EKUBA IS NOT IN THE FMC OR ON THE COMMERCIAL CHARTS CARRIED BY THE FLT CREW. THEY WERE GIVEN A PHOTOCOPY OF A CHART WITH THE LOCATION OF EKUBA PENNED IN AT AN APPROX LOCATION.
