On takeoff; doing noise abatement climb; the primary pitch trim circuit breaker tripped. Level off at 1500 ft AGL somewhat abrupt. Overshot by 260 ft. Advised first officer aircraft would not trim. Checked breaker. Forward column pressure wasn't fast enough to prevent overshoot. Reset breaker; trim normal. Forward pressure was needed to prevent continued climb. No comment or action from ATC. Situation corrected. Departure continued normally.
