Narrative:

On coney departure; we started a left turn to intercept cri-043. (This should have been a right turn.) controller queried us and then gave us a 360 degree heading. No conflict or loss of separation. We were both tired and fatigue was a major factor. CRM was good and we have worked together a long time. Unfortunately; we both looked at the chart and made a mistake in the process. Long duty days and short nights are a major part of our air carrier's scheduling. We have communicated the problem to them; but unfortunately these communications have fallen on deaf ears.
