Narrative:

C500 sbound 5 NM north J584 FL310; requested FL330. B727 nebound J82 doret J584 slt. I thought B727 would continue nebound; didn't notice he would be turning eastbound. Climbed C500 up to FL330. Had many other things to take care of. Looking back conflict alert went off; after separation was lost due to turn; I told C500 to level off to keep them from getting closer.

HAD MANY OTHER THINGS TO TAKE CARE OF. LOOKING BACK CONFLICT ALERT WENT OFF; AFTER SEPARATION WAS LOST DUE TO TURN; I TOLD C500 TO LEVEL OFF TO KEEP THEM FROM GETTING CLOSER.
