Narrative:

An incomplete preflight led to an exhaust plug not being removed. On takeoff, it was ejected from the exhaust port onto the runway. This may have caused a delay to other aircraft while the runway was swept. The plug was removed from the runway by ground personnel without incident to other aircraft.
