Narrative:
On jan/sat/04, myself and another mechanic replaced door 1L slide raft per maintenance manual 25-66-01. After replacement completion, an inspector was called and accomplished the inspection per the rii list. When the item was signed off in the computer, the rii block was not checked and the rii not completed in the computer.

Title: A B757-200 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIRED FAA INSPECTION ON DOOR 1L SLIDE ACCOMPLISHED BUT NOT ENTERED IN MAINT COMPUTER.
Narrative: ON JAN/SAT/04, MYSELF AND ANOTHER MECH REPLACED DOOR 1L SLIDE RAFT PER MAINT MANUAL 25-66-01. AFTER REPLACEMENT COMPLETION, AN INSPECTOR WAS CALLED AND ACCOMPLISHED THE INSPECTION PER THE RII LIST. WHEN THE ITEM WAS SIGNED OFF IN THE COMPUTER, THE RII BLOCK WAS NOT CHKED AND THE RII NOT COMPLETED IN THE COMPUTER.
