Narrative:

I was back taxiing on runway 21 for departure, making radio calls on CTAF 122.50. As I reached the end of runway, a navajo called for taxi out to runway for departure. I immediately called back saying I was about to take off runway 21. No response from navajo. I turned my airplane around into position for takeoff, made another radio call stating I'm taking off runway 21. I had still no response from the navajo, but did not see it taxiing out. Beginning end of runway 21 to ramp access taxiway is 5000 ft apart, so I decided to have enough distance for gate operation in case of incursion. I started my takeoff roll and approximately 500-1000 ft down the runway, the navajo taxies onto runway and then made radio call saying back taxi on runway. I aborted takeoff, stopping approximately 2000 ft from the navajo. When I called on CTAF that I aborted takeoff, navajo finally responded saying they'll clear the runway.

Title: AC680 PLT REJECTS THE TKOF AFTER ANOTHER ACFT ENTERS THE RWY AT PFYU.

Narrative: I WAS BACK TAXIING ON RWY 21 FOR DEP, MAKING RADIO CALLS ON CTAF 122.50. AS I REACHED THE END OF RWY, A NAVAJO CALLED FOR TAXI OUT TO RWY FOR DEP. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED BACK SAYING I WAS ABOUT TO TAKE OFF RWY 21. NO RESPONSE FROM NAVAJO. I TURNED MY AIRPLANE AROUND INTO POS FOR TKOF, MADE ANOTHER RADIO CALL STATING I'M TAKING OFF RWY 21. I HAD STILL NO RESPONSE FROM THE NAVAJO, BUT DID NOT SEE IT TAXIING OUT. BEGINNING END OF RWY 21 TO RAMP ACCESS TXWY IS 5000 FT APART, SO I DECIDED TO HAVE ENOUGH DISTANCE FOR GATE OP IN CASE OF INCURSION. I STARTED MY TKOF ROLL AND APPROX 500-1000 FT DOWN THE RWY, THE NAVAJO TAXIES ONTO RWY AND THEN MADE RADIO CALL SAYING BACK TAXI ON RWY. I ABORTED TKOF, STOPPING APPROX 2000 FT FROM THE NAVAJO. WHEN I CALLED ON CTAF THAT I ABORTED TKOF, NAVAJO FINALLY RESPONDED SAYING THEY'LL CLR THE RWY.
