Narrative:

I was landing runway 4R at mdw. Winds on the surface were 140 degrees at 14 KTS. The tower cleared us to land. There was a saab airliner in position on the runway. Acso, another airliner was crossing runway 4R on the far end. As we approached the runway, I decided to go around due to traffic on the runway. The controller gave us a left turn to 250 degrees. I began a turn when my copilot said 'right, right, right turn.' I then made a right turn. ATC said everything worked out, but I was reminded how much work is involved in a simple procedure.
