Narrative:

Arrived at gate X. Pilot reported #1 generator worked ok, but had no volt or frequency indication. All other generators and indications worked ok. I installed an overhead module P-5-13 electrical meters, battery and galley power. The cause of the event was because I did not check mpd 25 to determine the part was correct.

Title: A B737-200 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH THE INCORRECT P5-13 ELECTRICAL INDICATION OVERHEAD PANEL INSTALLED.

Narrative: ARRIVED AT GATE X. PLT RPTED #1 GENERATOR WORKED OK, BUT HAD NO VOLT OR FREQ INDICATION. ALL OTHER GENERATORS AND INDICATIONS WORKED OK. I INSTALLED AN OVERHEAD MODULE P-5-13 ELECTRICAL METERS, BATTERY AND GALLEY PWR. THE CAUSE OF THE EVENT WAS BECAUSE I DID NOT CHK MPD 25 TO DETERMINE THE PART WAS CORRECT.
