Title: A B757-200 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH THE L ENG OIL CAP NOT SECURED. ACFT DIVERTED DUE TO LOSS OF OIL PRESSURE AND QUANTITY.
Narrative: DURING ROUTINE MAINT SVCING, LEFT ENG, OIL CAP MIGHT NOT HAVE BEEN FULLY SECURED DOWN. THIS OVERSIGHT WAS UNINTENTIONAL AND MIGHT HAVE CAUSED ACFT TO DIVERT TO ANOTHER FIELD.
