Narrative:

Sedona (sez) uses runway 3 for landing and runway 21 for takeoff with less than 10 KTS wind. I was on takeoff roll start (runway 21) and aborted, exited to taxiway because of aircraft on short final for runway 3. Busy sunday morning, 4 aircraft waiting to go for runway 21. One announced aircraft on downwind. CTAF busy with aircraft calling to announce taxiing. Airborne aircraft calling position near airport and in pattern. Sedona too busy to do 'land on runway 3' 'takeoff on runway 21,' although encouraged for noise reasons! CTAF does not need taxi calls (clutter). I had waited for announced aircraft to land and clear, never heard runway 3 landing aircraft until he was on short final. He said he announced himself. Never heard him. Uneventful departure second time, fourth to go.
