Narrative:

I landed on runway 13R at dfw and cleared at the last high speed. The tower said to continue to taxiway B, as taxiway a was closed. They said to continue on B and hold short of runway 18R, monitor tower. The tower said cross runway 18L and contact ground 121.65 on the bridge. We crossed runway 18L and went straight to the bravo bridge. We could see an rj coming the opposite direction, so I stopped and called ground. We never received instruction to transition to the alpha bridge. I did not think anything of this as the tower had said alpha was closed. When everyone stopped there were 2 air carrier jets and an rj facing us. Air carrier sent a tug out and pushed their aircraft back. The rj was able to do a 180 degree turn and we continued to the ramp without further incident. Supplemental information from acn 531482: landed on runway 13R. Cleared on taxiway B because tower said that taxiway a was closed. Told to hold short of runway 18R. We held short of runway 18R. Cleared across runway 18R to hold short of runway 18L. We held short of runway 18L. Cleared across runway 18L to contact ground on the top of the bridge 121.65. Stayed on taxiway B and contacted ground 121.65 to notice an rj coming in the opposite direction. Stopped and asked ground what to do. Held our position for 15 mins while air carrier ground crews moved 2 aircraft and the rj did a 180 degree turn to get out of the way.

Title: A B757 CREW, AFTER LNDG AT DFW, REACHED AN IMPASSE WITH OTHER ACFT ON THE SAME TXWY, NOSE-TO-NOSE.

Narrative: I LANDED ON RWY 13R AT DFW AND CLRED AT THE LAST HIGH SPD. THE TWR SAID TO CONTINUE TO TXWY B, AS TXWY A WAS CLOSED. THEY SAID TO CONTINUE ON B AND HOLD SHORT OF RWY 18R, MONITOR TWR. THE TWR SAID CROSS RWY 18L AND CONTACT GND 121.65 ON THE BRIDGE. WE CROSSED RWY 18L AND WENT STRAIGHT TO THE BRAVO BRIDGE. WE COULD SEE AN RJ COMING THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION, SO I STOPPED AND CALLED GND. WE NEVER RECEIVED INSTRUCTION TO TRANSITION TO THE ALPHA BRIDGE. I DID NOT THINK ANYTHING OF THIS AS THE TWR HAD SAID ALPHA WAS CLOSED. WHEN EVERYONE STOPPED THERE WERE 2 ACR JETS AND AN RJ FACING US. ACR SENT A TUG OUT AND PUSHED THEIR ACFT BACK. THE RJ WAS ABLE TO DO A 180 DEG TURN AND WE CONTINUED TO THE RAMP WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 531482: LANDED ON RWY 13R. CLRED ON TXWY B BECAUSE TWR SAID THAT TXWY A WAS CLOSED. TOLD TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 18R. WE HELD SHORT OF RWY 18R. CLRED ACROSS RWY 18R TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 18L. WE HELD SHORT OF RWY 18L. CLRED ACROSS RWY 18L TO CONTACT GND ON THE TOP OF THE BRIDGE 121.65. STAYED ON TXWY B AND CONTACTED GND 121.65 TO NOTICE AN RJ COMING IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. STOPPED AND ASKED GND WHAT TO DO. HELD OUR POS FOR 15 MINS WHILE ACR GND CREWS MOVED 2 ACFT AND THE RJ DID A 180 DEG TURN TO GET OUT OF THE WAY.
