Narrative:
On 12/sat/01, I inadvertently entered restr airspace adjacent to ZZZ2 airport, ZZZ2, us, while on a pleasure flight in my small aircraft in VFR conditions. While I was aware that ZZZ2 airport was inactive due to security precautions in place for ZZZ3 I admit to having not researched the applicable fdc thoroughly enough prior to takeoff from ZZZ1 airport. Instead, I relied on word of mouth information regarding the extent of the restr airspace. I flew in the area anticipating a horizontal radius of restr airspace of 2 miles unaware that those dimensions were not in effect for an additional two days. I take full responsibility for my actions regarding this flight and have made sure that I am fully aware of the contents of the expired fdc XXXX and the current fdc XXXX. For good measure, I called and spoke with the appropriate individuals at the controlling agency of ATC. The cause of this incident was an uncharacteristic lapse of thoroughness on my part. I believe the current system is adequate to provide required information if used properly.

Title: AN SMA PLT VIOLATED A TFR INVOLVING A LOCAL ARPT.
Narrative: ON 12/SAT/01, I INADVERTENTLY ENTERED RESTR AIRSPACE ADJACENT TO ZZZ2 ARPT, ZZZ2, US, WHILE ON A PLEASURE FLT IN MY SMALL ACFT IN VFR CONDITIONS. WHILE I WAS AWARE THAT ZZZ2 ARPT WAS INACTIVE DUE TO SECURITY PRECAUTIONS IN PLACE FOR ZZZ3 I ADMIT TO HAVING NOT RESEARCHED THE APPLICABLE FDC THOROUGHLY ENOUGH PRIOR TO TKOF FROM ZZZ1 ARPT. I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY ACTIONS REGARDING THIS FLT AND HAVE MADE SURE THAT I AM FULLY AWARE OF THE CONTENTS OF THE EXPIRED FDC XXXX AND THE CURRENT FDC XXXX. FOR GOOD MEASURE, I CALLED AND SPOKE WITH THE APPROPRIATE INDIVIDUALS AT THE CONTROLLING AGENCY OF ATC. THE CAUSE OF THIS INCIDENT WAS AN UNCHARACTERISTIC LAPSE OF THOROUGHNESS ON MY PART. I BELIEVE THE CURRENT SYSTEM IS ADEQUATE TO PROVIDE REQUIRED INFO IF USED PROPERLY.
