Narrative:

I was taxiing to runway 34 at westchester co airport, hpn, and went beyond the hold lines. The ground controller called me and instructed me to stop and to do a 180 degree turn. I did as instructed. He informed me that I caused an aircraft to go around. I apologized and was allowed to continue to runway 34 and take off. Since it was my first time at this airport, I should have asked for progressive taxi instructions. Also, the hold short lines were faded as well as not highlighted with black paint as is at my home airport. I don't excuse my stupidity, I only mention the black paint to point out that the hold short lines didn't register soon enough.
