Narrative:

When leaving the lincoln (lkn) airport, I was advised by the ground controller to taxi to takeoff runway, which I did, stopping at the hold line. While I was switching to tower frequency, the plane rolled forward till the front 1/2 of the plane was over the hold line before I noticed and stopped the movement. The tower then gave me permission to take off, which I did and followed their instructions while leaving the airspace. No other planes were landing or taking off at the time. I plan to get more hours at a tower controled airport with an instructor.
