Narrative:
There was no conflict. We were in a descent, autoplt on and the mcdu was programmed to cross adena at 12000 ft. The captain was talking to a flight attendant, and I looked away to verify the approach plate to the mcdu. When I looked back to my pfd we were crossing adena at approximately 12800 ft. I should not have been verifying the approach information during the last 1000 ft to a leveloff.
