Narrative:

We were following an air carrier B737 on final approach. That aircraft slowed early and we were gaining on him, at which point we were instructed to slow to 160 KTS. The separation was 2 1/2 mi so we requested to land a little long to avoid wake. Tower then requested we get off at the last high speed (taxiway sf). We were on runway 27 at iah. We exited at that taxiway as instructed and before we could stop, tower instructed us to taxi taxiway sa, taxiway sc, and to contact ground control. We exited the runway ahead of where the other aircraft did, due to the longer landing and therefore we were ahead of where he was taxiing along the parallel. While he was on ground control and we were still with tower, apparently nobody was instructed to give way to the other aircraft, which I am sure we all assumed it was the other aircraft. No evasive action was necessary, however, the air carrier did stop to give way to us. Tower control was called on the telephone, and the events were discussed in a professional manner. I believe too many assumptions were made by both controllers and both aircraft.

Title: CL65 CREW HAD CONFLICT WITH OTHER TAXIING ACFT ON THE GND IN IAH.

Narrative: WE WERE FOLLOWING AN ACR B737 ON FINAL APCH. THAT ACFT SLOWED EARLY AND WE WERE GAINING ON HIM, AT WHICH POINT WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO SLOW TO 160 KTS. THE SEPARATION WAS 2 1/2 MI SO WE REQUESTED TO LAND A LITTLE LONG TO AVOID WAKE. TWR THEN REQUESTED WE GET OFF AT THE LAST HIGH SPD (TXWY SF). WE WERE ON RWY 27 AT IAH. WE EXITED AT THAT TXWY AS INSTRUCTED AND BEFORE WE COULD STOP, TWR INSTRUCTED US TO TAXI TXWY SA, TXWY SC, AND TO CONTACT GND CTL. WE EXITED THE RWY AHEAD OF WHERE THE OTHER ACFT DID, DUE TO THE LONGER LNDG AND THEREFORE WE WERE AHEAD OF WHERE HE WAS TAXIING ALONG THE PARALLEL. WHILE HE WAS ON GND CTL AND WE WERE STILL WITH TWR, APPARENTLY NOBODY WAS INSTRUCTED TO GIVE WAY TO THE OTHER ACFT, WHICH I AM SURE WE ALL ASSUMED IT WAS THE OTHER ACFT. NO EVASIVE ACTION WAS NECESSARY, HOWEVER, THE ACR DID STOP TO GIVE WAY TO US. TWR CTL WAS CALLED ON THE TELEPHONE, AND THE EVENTS WERE DISCUSSED IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. I BELIEVE TOO MANY ASSUMPTIONS WERE MADE BY BOTH CTLRS AND BOTH ACFT.
