Narrative:

After landing, ground control cleared me to taxi on taxiway a, cross runways 15R&left, turn right on taxiway B to the ramp. I have used this airport many times, but this was the first time I had taxied to this FBO on the airport. I crossed runway 15R, then turned right inadvertently on runway 15L. Immediately realizing the error, I stopped and began to turn back to the crossing taxiway. Ground control observed this event and approved me to continue taxiing to the ramp and cautioned me that I was on the runway. There was no conflicting aircraft on the runway. I was distraction by the first officer discussing a problem with a temperamental APU. While familiar with the airport, I should have given the runway crossing my undivided attention.

I HAVE USED THIS ARPT MANY TIMES, BUT THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAD TAXIED TO THIS FBO ON THE ARPT. I CROSSED RWY 15R, THEN TURNED R INADVERTENTLY ON RWY 15L. IMMEDIATELY REALIZING THE ERROR, I STOPPED AND BEGAN TO TURN BACK TO THE XING TXWY. GND CTL OBSERVED THIS EVENT AND APPROVED ME TO CONTINUE TAXIING TO THE RAMP AND CAUTIONED ME THAT I WAS ON THE RWY. THERE WAS NO CONFLICTING ACFT ON THE RWY. I WAS DISTR BY THE FO DISCUSSING A PROB WITH A TEMPERAMENTAL APU. WHILE FAMILIAR WITH THE ARPT, I SHOULD HAVE GIVEN THE RWY XING MY UNDIVIDED ATTN.
