Flight Crew Human Performance
I was flying a C172 on a practice/pleasure flight to stay current on tracking radials and airways. I was flying south of the okmulgee VOR on V15 over lake eufaula. I decided to deviate and make a few practice approachs at fountainhead airport '0f7.' I checked for NOTAMS on my garmin 396 and made a full stop landing and taxied off the runway. After a short break I took off to the south (runway 18) and circled to make a few 'touch and goes' to practice some crosswind lndgs. This is an uncontrolled airport so I 'broadcast in the blind' my intentions on upwind; downwind; base and final. I made 1 touch and go and circled for a second one. On short final (1/2 mi) on runway 18 I noticed a car driving north down the centerline of the runway. I do not know where the car came from; how it got on the runway or why it was coming down the centerline; but I aborted the landing and performed a 'go around' maneuver. As I circled I noticed the car sitting by the side of the runway. I decided to leave the area and continue my practice at another airport. After I landed back where my plane is based; I contacted WX brief to double-check to see if there were any NOTAMS that I did not pick up on my garmin 396. The briefer indicated that 0f7 was clear for use and had no NOTAMS. In closing; I realize this is an uncontrolled airport; but I believe the airport is gated and access is intended to be controled. This may need to be investigated.

Title: CAR ON RWY OF UNCONTROLLED 0F7 FORCES C172 PLT TO ABANDON TOUCH AND GO PRACTICE.
Narrative: I WAS FLYING A C172 ON A PRACTICE/PLEASURE FLT TO STAY CURRENT ON TRACKING RADIALS AND AIRWAYS. I WAS FLYING S OF THE OKMULGEE VOR ON V15 OVER LAKE EUFAULA. I DECIDED TO DEVIATE AND MAKE A FEW PRACTICE APCHS AT FOUNTAINHEAD ARPT '0F7.' I CHKED FOR NOTAMS ON MY GARMIN 396 AND MADE A FULL STOP LNDG AND TAXIED OFF THE RWY. AFTER A SHORT BREAK I TOOK OFF TO THE S (RWY 18) AND CIRCLED TO MAKE A FEW 'TOUCH AND GOES' TO PRACTICE SOME XWIND LNDGS. THIS IS AN UNCTLED ARPT SO I 'BROADCAST IN THE BLIND' MY INTENTIONS ON UPWIND; DOWNWIND; BASE AND FINAL. I MADE 1 TOUCH AND GO AND CIRCLED FOR A SECOND ONE. ON SHORT FINAL (1/2 MI) ON RWY 18 I NOTICED A CAR DRIVING N DOWN THE CTRLINE OF THE RWY. I DO NOT KNOW WHERE THE CAR CAME FROM; HOW IT GOT ON THE RWY OR WHY IT WAS COMING DOWN THE CTRLINE; BUT I ABORTED THE LNDG AND PERFORMED A 'GAR' MANEUVER. AS I CIRCLED I NOTICED THE CAR SITTING BY THE SIDE OF THE RWY. I DECIDED TO LEAVE THE AREA AND CONTINUE MY PRACTICE AT ANOTHER ARPT. AFTER I LANDED BACK WHERE MY PLANE IS BASED; I CONTACTED WX BRIEF TO DOUBLE-CHK TO SEE IF THERE WERE ANY NOTAMS THAT I DID NOT PICK UP ON MY GARMIN 396. THE BRIEFER INDICATED THAT 0F7 WAS CLR FOR USE AND HAD NO NOTAMS. IN CLOSING; I REALIZE THIS IS AN UNCTLED ARPT; BUT I BELIEVE THE ARPT IS GATED AND ACCESS IS INTENDED TO BE CTLED. THIS MAY NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED.
