Narrative:

This man came back to the galley and started screaming at me incoherently. At first I had no idea what he was talking about. Apparently, the purser asked him to take his seat, since the seatbelt sign was on and it was bumpy. She was on her way back to first class. It became apparent he was intoxicated to have such a change in disposition, and he became irate over being told the seatbelt sign was on, said he didn't have to situation down, that we obviously didn't have children, that he had lived in ft worth for 16 yrs, and continued screaming at me, when I said the purser was just doing her job to advise him of the seatbelt sign. He wasn't even coherent! I called the cockpit to see if they could calm him down and explain why he needed to be seated. Also, I was scared back there by myself. About the time I tried to get him to talk to the captain, another flight attendant came back, then he started screaming at her. The captain told me to 'wake up the cockpit member on break and get him to come back.' when I left to get him, he really started in on the other flight attendant and she thought he was going to hit her. The cockpit crew brought a male flight attendant back with him, and he told the man to situation down, not say another word, and not to get out of his seat till we were in dfw. He complied with the captain's orders. Supplemental information from acn 460233: the flight attendants serving him said he had a lot of wine and had to take a bottle from him that he had brought on board. For the first time in 30 yrs of being a flight attendant, I really had a feeling I was going to be hit. A young male passenger heard it all. He gave us his name as a witness. Flight attendants serving him did not know until later in the flight that he had his own bottle.

Narrative: THIS MAN CAME BACK TO THE GALLEY AND STARTED SCREAMING AT ME INCOHERENTLY. AT FIRST I HAD NO IDEA WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT. APPARENTLY, THE PURSER ASKED HIM TO TAKE HIS SEAT, SINCE THE SEATBELT SIGN WAS ON AND IT WAS BUMPY. SHE WAS ON HER WAY BACK TO FIRST CLASS. IT BECAME APPARENT HE WAS INTOXICATED TO HAVE SUCH A CHANGE IN DISPOSITION, AND HE BECAME IRATE OVER BEING TOLD THE SEATBELT SIGN WAS ON, SAID HE DIDN'T HAVE TO SIT DOWN, THAT WE OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T HAVE CHILDREN, THAT HE HAD LIVED IN FT WORTH FOR 16 YRS, AND CONTINUED SCREAMING AT ME, WHEN I SAID THE PURSER WAS JUST DOING HER JOB TO ADVISE HIM OF THE SEATBELT SIGN. HE WASN'T EVEN COHERENT! I CALLED THE COCKPIT TO SEE IF THEY COULD CALM HIM DOWN AND EXPLAIN WHY HE NEEDED TO BE SEATED. ALSO, I WAS SCARED BACK THERE BY MYSELF. ABOUT THE TIME I TRIED TO GET HIM TO TALK TO THE CAPT, ANOTHER FLT ATTENDANT CAME BACK, THEN HE STARTED SCREAMING AT HER. THE CAPT TOLD ME TO 'WAKE UP THE COCKPIT MEMBER ON BREAK AND GET HIM TO COME BACK.' WHEN I LEFT TO GET HIM, HE REALLY STARTED IN ON THE OTHER FLT ATTENDANT AND SHE THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO HIT HER. THE COCKPIT CREW BROUGHT A MALE FLT ATTENDANT BACK WITH HIM, AND HE TOLD THE MAN TO SIT DOWN, NOT SAY ANOTHER WORD, AND NOT TO GET OUT OF HIS SEAT TILL WE WERE IN DFW. HE COMPLIED WITH THE CAPT'S ORDERS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 460233: THE FLT ATTENDANTS SERVING HIM SAID HE HAD A LOT OF WINE AND HAD TO TAKE A BOTTLE FROM HIM THAT HE HAD BROUGHT ON BOARD. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 30 YRS OF BEING A FLT ATTENDANT, I REALLY HAD A FEELING I WAS GOING TO BE HIT. A YOUNG MALE PAX HEARD IT ALL. HE GAVE US HIS NAME AS A WITNESS. FLT ATTENDANTS SERVING HIM DID NOT KNOW UNTIL LATER IN THE FLT THAT HE HAD HIS OWN BOTTLE.
