Narrative:

While maintenance was pushing back our B767 at the ramp in ont, we were pushed onto taxiway west, which dead ends into our ramp. Usually we are pushed to a different ramp. Letting maintenance do their job, we did not notice we were going to cause a conflict. We ended up blocking a small plane from entering our ramp. We had been in and out of ont several times before and never asked for pushback clearance because we usually stay on our ramp. This caught us by surprise and ended causing 1 aircraft to back taxi and aggravating ground control.

Title: THE GND CREW PUSHED A B767 ONTO AN ACTIVE TXWY WITHOUT A CLRNC AT ONT.

Narrative: WHILE MAINT WAS PUSHING BACK OUR B767 AT THE RAMP IN ONT, WE WERE PUSHED ONTO TXWY W, WHICH DEAD ENDS INTO OUR RAMP. USUALLY WE ARE PUSHED TO A DIFFERENT RAMP. LETTING MAINT DO THEIR JOB, WE DID NOT NOTICE WE WERE GOING TO CAUSE A CONFLICT. WE ENDED UP BLOCKING A SMALL PLANE FROM ENTERING OUR RAMP. WE HAD BEEN IN AND OUT OF ONT SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE AND NEVER ASKED FOR PUSHBACK CLRNC BECAUSE WE USUALLY STAY ON OUR RAMP. THIS CAUGHT US BY SURPRISE AND ENDED CAUSING 1 ACFT TO BACK TAXI AND AGGRAVATING GND CTL.
