Narrative:

My student and I departed the ash airport in a G109B motorglider. We proceeded swbound and were climbing out of 1500 ft when we saw an experimental skybolt, aerobatic biplane a few mi ahead of us. I asked the student to turn wbound and travel away from the biplane. After proceeding wbound and climbing through 2500 ft, I saw the biplane 1/4 mi off of our left wing. I took the plane and turned steeply to a northwest heading, turning us away from the biplane. I then saw the biplane behind us 300 ft away. I turned briskly to the left and so did the biplane. I entered a steep descent and a left turn to avoid the biplane, who was still 300 ft off of our tail. The aircraft followed. Finally, I made 1 more turn and descended again and the biplane broke off the pursuit. However, this final maneuver put me on the edge, partially in the ash class D airspace without 2-WAY radio communication being established. Pilots should not operate as careless and reckless as this pilot did. Aircraft are not toys and collision avoidance must be taken seriously!

Title: AN INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT GLIDER PLT ENTERED ASH CLASS D AIRSPACE WITHOUT A CLRNC.

Narrative: MY STUDENT AND I DEPARTED THE ASH ARPT IN A G109B MOTORGLIDER. WE PROCEEDED SWBOUND AND WERE CLBING OUT OF 1500 FT WHEN WE SAW AN EXPERIMENTAL SKYBOLT, AEROBATIC BIPLANE A FEW MI AHEAD OF US. I ASKED THE STUDENT TO TURN WBOUND AND TRAVEL AWAY FROM THE BIPLANE. AFTER PROCEEDING WBOUND AND CLBING THROUGH 2500 FT, I SAW THE BIPLANE 1/4 MI OFF OF OUR L WING. I TOOK THE PLANE AND TURNED STEEPLY TO A NW HDG, TURNING US AWAY FROM THE BIPLANE. I THEN SAW THE BIPLANE BEHIND US 300 FT AWAY. I TURNED BRISKLY TO THE L AND SO DID THE BIPLANE. I ENTERED A STEEP DSCNT AND A L TURN TO AVOID THE BIPLANE, WHO WAS STILL 300 FT OFF OF OUR TAIL. THE ACFT FOLLOWED. FINALLY, I MADE 1 MORE TURN AND DSNDED AGAIN AND THE BIPLANE BROKE OFF THE PURSUIT. HOWEVER, THIS FINAL MANEUVER PUT ME ON THE EDGE, PARTIALLY IN THE ASH CLASS D AIRSPACE WITHOUT 2-WAY RADIO COM BEING ESTABLISHED. PLTS SHOULD NOT OPERATE AS CARELESS AND RECKLESS AS THIS PLT DID. ACFT ARE NOT TOYS AND COLLISION AVOIDANCE MUST BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY!
